Inscryption to Launch on Mobile Five Years After Release

Inscryption is coming to mobile five years after release, Daniel Mullins Games announced during a fifth-anniversary stream, with no launch date yet.

The mobile version will bring Inscryption and its cast of creatures and Scrybes to phones. The team said more details about the mobile release are expected in the coming months.

Daniel Mullins Games also confirmed that no new downloadable content is planned for now. In a post on Reddit, the team said, "we feel that Inscryption is a complete experience, both narratively and gameplay-wise. We don't want to add content simply for the sake of adding more, or to capitalize on the game's success. Preserving the atmosphere, identity, and experience that made Inscryption special in the first place is incredibly important to us."

The studio said its main focus is finishing Pony Island 2, the follow-up to 2016's Pony Island. Daniel Mullins Games recently announced that the game will launch on Steam on April 27, 2027.
