Apple staff who used the foldable iPhone Ultra praise its pocket fit, hinge, app layouts, and camera viewfinder, per Bloomberg.

In the latest edition of his Power On newsletter, Bloomberg's Mark Gurman said he has spoken to several people who have used the device. They described a 5.5-inch outer display that makes it pocket-friendly, and a hinge that feels durable. The inner display, said to measure about 7.8 inches and be wider than it is tall, enables app layouts similar to the iPad, according to those users. They also praised the device as a camera viewfinder.

Multiple reports have said the iPhone Ultra will cost upwards of $2,000. It is expected to include a main camera and an ultra-wide camera but no telephoto lens. It will reportedly use Touch ID for biometric authentication instead of Face ID.

The iPhone Ultra has not been officially announced, and rumors point to a launch within a few weeks. The device is expected to be Apple's first foldable iPhone. 9to5Mac reported on the Bloomberg newsletter.
