iOS 27 Calendar App Gets Redesigned Event Details and Editing Screens
Apple's Calendar app in iOS 27 introduces notable design changes to event details, creation, and editing screens, making key features easier to view and navigate.
When a user taps on any calendar event, the details view has been revamped to display more information on-screen at a time. Icons have been added as visual cues to help users parse the content more quickly. Combined with smaller design tweaks, these updates contribute to a more modern overall feel.
Similar design improvements are applied when creating or editing events. More information now fits on the screen, with a reorganized layout that uses icons and headings to group event parameters for easier navigation. The changes are designed to streamline the user experience.
Beyond these two areas, the Calendar app benefits from iOS 27's systemwide enhancements to Liquid Glass, Apple's design language. The update builds on last year's Liquid Glass introduction, although Calendar had previously changed little visually.
