iOS 27 Reworks Focus Mode With Resizable Control Center Control and Focus-Aware Shortcuts
据 Engadget 报道,iOS 27 允许用户调整专注模式在控制中心的图标大小,并新增基于当前专注状态的快捷指令触发条件、“否则如果”逻辑,以及 Siri 用自然语言生成专注类自动化的能力。
Focus is the iPhone tool that governs which alerts arrive and when. It ships with default modes such as Work, Personal and Sleep, and users can build their own — silencing social media notifications while still allowing messages from family members, for instance. To switch modes, a user swipes down from the top-right of the screen to open Control Center, taps the Focus panel and picks a mode. Configuration lives in Settings under Focus, where any mode, default or custom, can be adjusted to change what is permitted and what is silenced.
The most visible change concerns the Control Center entry itself. With Control Center open, a long press on any empty part of the screen activates edit mode, and dragging the bottom-right corner of the Focus icon resizes it. Where iOS 26 and earlier limited the item to a 2x1 space, iOS 27 lets it shrink to a 1x1 circle to save room or expand to 2x2 for quicker selections.
The report, published September 18, also describes deeper Shortcuts integration. Shortcut actions can now check the phone's state based on the Focus mode that is running, an improvement explained by Derek Seaman and cited in the report. Sleep Focus can now be selected as an automation trigger as well. The report gives the example of a Shortcut, built with natural language commands, that plays a podcast when the phone is in Driving focus mode.
Support for “Otherwise if” logic statements has also arrived for Shortcuts paired with Focus mode triggers. A Shortcut can fire one action when Sleep Focus is on, for example, and a different action when Driving is on instead. The device tracks switches between modes and runs the matching action, which the report describes as more granular control over automations than a single trigger allows.
iOS 27 also brings what the report calls vast improvements to Siri AI. Users can issue natural language commands and have Siri create a Shortcut with Focus mode status built into it.
The report offers personal examples to illustrate the changes: a custom Focus mode that silences Facebook, Instagram, Phone and Messenger notifications while still permitting Slack and a Ring video doorbell, with specific people such as a boss or spouse allowed through so a crucial message is not missed; and a Shortcut that opens a workout app automatically whenever Fitness mode is switched on. The report characterizes these as incremental rather than sweeping changes, but ones that make actions easier to trigger and days run more smoothly.
