iQOO 16, Razer Blade 16 and Logitech G316 X 98 Reviews Highlight Performance and Trade-Offs

TechRadar said the Razer Blade 16 (2026) might be the best gaming laptop its reviewer has tested. The review unit carried an Nvidia RTX 5090 with 175W of power, an Intel Core Ultra 9 386H, 32GB of LPDDR5X RAM at 9,600 MT/s, a 16-inch 2560 x 1600 OLED display with a 240Hz refresh rate and a 90Whr battery in a 17.4mm-thick, 2.14kg chassis. Razer sells the base model from $3,499 / £3,499 / AU$5,999 with an RTX 5070 Ti and 1TB SSD, while the tested configuration costs $4,899.99 / £4,799.99 / AU$8,399.95 with a 2TB SSD. The laptop is available globally, can be configured with an RTX 5080 and up to 64GB of RAM, uses soldered memory and has no Ethernet port. TechRadar said Cyberpunk 2077 and Total War: Warhammer 3 ran well into the hundreds of frames per second, and praised the clean aluminum design, RGB keyboard and OLED screen. It listed the very high price and missing Ethernet port as the main drawbacks.

Ifanr reviewed the iQOO 16 and said it uses a sixth-generation Snapdragon 8 Super Ultimate mobile platform with a CPU peak frequency of 5.01GHz, a self-developed Q4 gaming chip, Monster engine and an 8,400mAh battery. The phone has a 2K flat display with an anti-reflection AR film, supports 165Hz in compatible games, includes a ray-tracing toggle, dual-axis linear motors and a game camera feature that can capture dynamic Live photos. Ifanr also highlighted the OriginOS 7 software, an Atomic Workspace multitasking view and system-level call recording that covers regular calls plus WeChat, DingTalk and Feishu calls. The iQOO 16 has IP68 and IP69 dust and water resistance, three rear cameras with optical image stabilization on the main lens and a 3x telephoto. Prices run from 5,999 yuan for 12GB + 256GB to 8,499 yuan for 16GB + 1TB.

In a separate TechRadar review, the Logitech G316 X 98 was described as a competent mechanical keyboard with premium build quality and satisfying tactile switches. It costs $119.99 / £109.99 / AU$199.95 and is available now in black or white. The 98% layout uses hot-swappable tactile switches, PBT keycaps, customizable RGB lighting, a thin LED strip, a translucent green Escape key and a volume wheel. Its adjustable feet are rubber blocks that flip to change the tilt from four to eight degrees. TechRadar said G HUB software allows up to five inputs to be mapped to one key and offers three mapping layers. The review faulted the keyboard for being wired only, lacking some useful keys and having a small integrated screen that displays no real information. It called the switches solid and thocky, though not the quietest, and said the G316 X is cheaper than the HyperX Origins 2 1800 and Razer BlackWidow V4 Pro 75%, but faces budget rivals such as the MonsGeek FUN60 Ultra.
