Jackery HomePower 3600 Plus discounted to $1,709 in early Prime Big Deal Days sale

TechRadar reports Jackery's HomePower 3600 Plus home backup power station is $1,709 at Amazon, down from $1,899, with direct-sale bundles and free gifts ahead of Prime Big Deal Days.

TechRadar reported that Jackery is running the early sale on Amazon and its own website, with up to 65% off power stations. The HomePower 3600 Plus has a 3,584Wh lithium iron phosphate battery and 3,600W AC output, which TechRadar said is enough capacity and power for numerous essential household appliances during an outage or away from home.

The unit's LFP battery is rated for 6,000 charge cycles, with a service life of up to 10 years, according to TechRadar. Jackery uses heat-resistant ceramic membrane battery cells to improve thermal safety. The power station weighs 77.2 pounds and has wheels and a telescopic handle. It also offers expandable capacity, multiple charging options, thermal safety technology, and a five-year warranty. TechRadar said the capacity can expand to approximately 21kWh, and larger configurations using multiple units can extend backup periods.

On price context, TechRadar reported the reduction from $1,899 to $1,709 is a good discount on a substantial piece of backup power equipment, though it is not the cheapest price seen for the unit; it has been $1,619 in the past on Amazon.

TechRadar's buying guidance said the HomePower 3600 Plus is for homeowners and RV owners looking for a lot of emergency backup power, or those who may expand their system in the future. It advised skipping the unit if the need is only occasional backup for a laptop, phone, or a few small electronic devices, because a smaller, less expensive portable power station would probably meet those requirements.

Jackery told TechRadar it is also running a parallel sale on its own site ahead of Amazon Prime Day. Buying direct can include a free insulated bottle worth $59 with the HomePower 3600 Plus and 500 X Panel bundle, or a free Explorer 100 Plus worth $149 with the 7.2kWh bundle. Orders must be placed by September 25 to qualify, and Jackery will email gift coupons by October 8. TechRadar said the bundle combines the HomePower 3600 Plus with a SolarSaga 500 X solar panel for renewable charging for home backup, emergencies, and off-grid use. The bundle delivers 3,584Wh capacity, expandable to 21kWh, with 3,600W output, quiet 30dB operation, 6,000 battery cycles, wheeled portability, and a five-year warranty.
