JBL Pulse 6 speaker with 360-degree light show launches September 6
JBL's Pulse 6 speaker, featuring a 360-degree light show and upgraded audio, will ship September 6 for $330.
The most notable feature of the Pulse 6 is its 360-degree light show. The speaker comes with 16 pre-programmed lighting themes: ten for ambient mood lighting and six for party time. It can also connect with compatible JBL PartyBox speakers and the PartyLight Stick for a more elaborate light display, and it can sync audio with other JBL products via Auracast.
On the audio side, the Pulse 6 offers balanced sound thanks to an upgraded acoustic design over previous models. JBL last updated its Pulse collection in 2022. The device also integrates JBL's AI Sound Boost technology to reduce distortion and maximize acoustic performance.
The Pulse 6 promises up to 12 hours of battery life and has an IP68 rating for water-resistant and dust-proof performance. Its integrated handle gives it the look of an old-school lantern, while housing modern lighting technology.
