Kickstarter campaign offers touchscreen mouse for Mac and PC

Startup crowdfunds a $199 mouse with a 3.1-inch touchscreen, app shortcuts and trackpad mode for Mac and PC.

The mouse’s screen is designed to show one-touch shortcuts, launch apps, switch tools and run frequently used commands. Users can choose shortcuts for each app and arrange them, and Super Mouse automatically displays the relevant controls when they switch between apps. The device also has customizable physical Hyper Keys that can trigger shortcuts or workflows with a single press, including opening multiple apps or running a series of commands.

Double-tapping turns Super Mouse into a multi-touch trackpad for scrolling, swiping and zooming. The mouse can also display some content directly on its screen and offer access to a swipe keyboard. Configuration is handled through a companion app available for macOS and Windows; once set up, the mouse detects the app in use and displays the controls created for it, with separate profiles possible for work, home and other uses.

The Kickstarter campaign has a funding deadline of Dec. 8. Kickstarter pricing is $199, while retail pricing is set to start at $249. Shipping is scheduled for February 2027. 9to5Mac noted the usual caution that Kickstarter projects can fail and shipping dates can slip.
