Leak Points to Six Samsung Foldables in 2027, Including a 'Galaxy Z Slide'
A tipster claims Samsung's 2027 Galaxy Z lineup could reach six foldables, adding a Galaxy Z Fold 9 Pro and a Galaxy Z Slide to four previously reported models. None of it is confirmed.
The claim comes from tipster TheGalox on X. According to that post, the 2027 range would include the Galaxy Z Flip 9, the Galaxy Z Fold 9, the Galaxy Z Fold 9 Ultra and the Galaxy Z TriFold 2, the four devices named in earlier reporting. Two further models would join them: a Galaxy Z Fold 9 Pro and a Galaxy Z Slide.
The same tipster says battery life, thickness and weight would improve across the lineup, and that the TriFold 2 would arrive first among the six devices. No specifications, prices or launch dates were given.
The leak extends a picture that was already ambitious. Samsung had barely unveiled the Galaxy Z Fold 8 family and the Z Flip 8 when reports emerged suggesting its 2027 flagship lineup could reach eight phones, four of them foldables. The new claim adds two more names to that list, pushing the foldable count to six.
None of the devices has been verified. Samsung has demonstrated slidable display technology in public, but it has not announced a product built around it. Earlier reporting points to a rollable device launching in 2028, a year later than the Galaxy Z Slide name suggests under this leak. Android Authority notes that the six-device lineup remains unverified.
Samsung has not confirmed any of the devices named in the leak, and the company has not responded publicly to the claim.
