Leak Points to Two Nothing Smart Glasses Models, One With a Camera
A leak says Nothing is preparing two pairs of smart glasses: a camera-free model with audio, calls and photochromic lenses, and a second version that adds a camera, ChatGPT and translation.
The first pair is said to carry no camera at all. It would offer audio playback, handle phone calls, connect to the voice assistant already on a paired phone, and use photochromic lenses that darken automatically when light gets brighter.
The second pair would add a camera on top of those audio and calling functions, along with ChatGPT, translation and other features the leak did not describe. Android Authority reported that the two-tier approach could let Nothing serve buyers who want AI glasses without a camera, while keeping its more advanced AI experiences for the higher-priced model.
Nothing has spent considerable time discussing a future beyond smartphones, and smart glasses have repeatedly appeared in that picture. Chief executive Carl Pei has argued that AI could eventually reshape computing around devices that understand more of the world around them. Nothing was previously reported to be targeting its first glasses for 2027.
The leak does not include pricing, a launch date or a release window for either model, and Nothing has not confirmed the products or commented on the report. The details come from a single leaker, and the company has not said whether either pair will ship.
