Leak Points to Updated Samsung Log and APV Support on Galaxy S27 Ultra

A leak says the Galaxy S27 Ultra will gain updated Samsung Log and APV video support, plus warmer photo color processing.

The claim comes from an X account posting under the name WalleGalaxy, which the report describes as relatively unknown. The same leak states that recording options would remain capped at 4K/120fps and 8K/30fps, suggesting Samsung would be deepening its existing video tools rather than raising the headline recording resolution.

Separate rumors cited in the same report say Samsung is reworking photo color processing to produce warmer, more natural-looking results. Those changes would accompany other rumored camera upgrades, including a new 200MP main sensor and refreshed ultrawide and selfie cameras.

Samsung's Ultra line has moved in small steps on still photography in recent generations, while its video feature set has advanced more visibly. The Galaxy S24 Ultra already offered 4K/120fps and 8K/30fps recording. The Galaxy S25 Ultra added Samsung Log, and the Galaxy S26 Ultra introduced Samsung's APV codec. The S27 Ultra leak, as reported by Android Authority, positions the expected changes as a continuation of that video-focused progression.

Samsung has not confirmed the specifications, and the leak has not been corroborated by a second source. Android Authority's report does not include any statement from Samsung on the matter.
