Leaked Renders Reveal Galaxy Tab S12 Plus and Ultra Ahead of Reported October 7 Launch

The 12.6-inch Galaxy Tab S12 Plus is shown with a dual-stereo speaker setup and a 10,600mAh battery. The larger 14.6-inch Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra retains a display notch, quad speakers, dual rear cameras, and an 11,600mAh battery, Android Authority reported. Both tablets reportedly switch to MediaTek's 3nm Dimensity 9500 chip. Reported U.S. starting prices are $1,200 for the Tab S12 Plus and $1,400 for the Tab S12 Ultra.

WinFuture published what appear to be official press renders, Android Authority said. The report follows several weeks of rumors about the devices. Earlier leaks had detailed the Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra's chipset, the broader Tab S12 lineup's specifications, and third-party renders showing design tweaks. The latest images appear to be official marketing materials rather than third-party mockups.

The leak includes a caveat about how the renders were produced. The fine print noted by WinFuture says that because Samsung uses invisible digital watermarks, the renders were reproduced from Gemini from “freely available original content.” Android Authority said it is fair to presume the Gemini-generated renders are close enough representations of the real product if WinFuture has seen them both. The report describes the October 7 launch as reported, not as an official Samsung announcement.
