Leaker Says Apple to Pay About $250 per iPhone Duo Panel in Three-Year Samsung Display Deal

Apple has released environmental details about the iPhone Duo. It said the device was built with the environment in mind and drives progress toward its goal of becoming carbon neutral across its entire footprint by 2030. The company said the phone is made with 35 percent recycled content overall, including 100 percent recycled cobalt in the battery and 100 percent recycled titanium in the 3D-printed hinge cover. Apple also said the iPhone Duo is manufactured with 60 percent renewable energy, such as wind and solar, across the supply chain, and meets its standards for energy efficiency and safe chemistry. Its paper packaging is 100 percent fiber-based and can be easily recycled at home, Apple said.
