Leakers Disagree on Whether Third iPhone 18 Pro Color Will Be Silver or Black
With the iPhone 18 Pro expected next week, leaks agree on two colors but diverge on the third, as leakers debate black versus silver.
Fixed Focus Digital said the third color will be black and that silver will “most likely” not be included in the lineup. The report notes that fans of silver may take comfort in the fact that Sky Blue is likely the same extremely subtle shade used for the iPhone Air and MacBook Air, which looks far more like silver in most lighting. If black is indeed included, it would likely please many people who were disappointed by the lack of black or space grey options in the iPhone 17 Pro lineup.
Sonny Dickson does not directly contradict that claim, but responded by posting a photo purporting to show SIM tray covers for each of the three colors, the third of which appears silver. Dickson previously shared images that included a black version, but now says he has not come across a black version in recent months. The two leakers’ conflicting expectations leave the third color uncertain ahead of Apple’s announcement.
