Lee to Chair Third Public-Private Meeting on Semiconductor, AI Megaprojects
South Korea's President Lee Jae Myung will preside over a public-private meeting Tuesday at Cheong Wa Dae to review progress on the government's three megaprojects in semiconductors and AI, his office said.
The meeting is the third of its kind, according to the presidential office. It will look at ways to ensure good living conditions in the areas where the projects are to be carried out, the office said.
Reports on how to create livable areas will be presented by the Office for Government Policy Coordination and the ministries of land, education, culture and health.
The three megaprojects focus on semiconductors, physical AI and AI data centers. The Tuesday session is also intended to check progress on each of them, the office said.
Those attending will include the relevant ministers and Cheong Wa Dae officials, as well as senior executives from Samsung and SK.
