Lego's 2026 Advent calendars arrive with six new sets as some sell out
Lego's 2026 Advent calendars include six new sets, and some are already selling out in places, TechRadar reports.
The Lego City calendar is the traditional option, built around Santa's workshop. It includes elves, toys, Mr. and Mrs. Claus and snowman figurines. The box transforms into a scene where the completed models can sit, which TechRadar described as a suitable addition to holiday decorations.
Marvel and Star Wars fans are also covered. TechRadar said these calendars include fan-favorite characters with a festive twist. Doctor Doom is shown angrily enjoying a candy cane, Spider-Man is on skis, and the Mandalorian, Moff Gideon and Grogu all wear holiday sweaters.
There are two more child-focused options. A festive-themed Lego Friends calendar is available, along with a Disney calendar that turns into a board game. The Disney set includes princesses and their sidekicks dressed in their holiday best, with Cinderella's Gus wearing antlers, plus buildable scenes such as a gingerbread castle and a train set.
TechRadar reported that previous years' calendars are still available to purchase on Amazon, including classics like the Harry Potter sets. Because those calendars are simply numbered 1-25, they will work just as well this year as they did when they launched, according to the report.
Lego's Advent calendars have built a record of reliable popularity year after year, and the early sellouts of some 2026 sets suggest demand remains strong. TechRadar said that while planning for the holidays in mid-October might feel premature, buying now is actually quite a smart move. Its roundup lists current U.S. and U.K. buying options for Lego Advent calendars.
