LG C6 OLED TV hits record-low $1,499.99 on Amazon during Labor Day sale, says TechRadar

LG C6 OLED TV on sale at Amazon for $1,499.99 during Labor Day, a record-low price for the 65-inch model, says TechRadar.

In its review, TechRadar notes that both the LG C6 and the older LG C5 are currently priced at $1,499.99 for the 65-inch model in the same sale, making the newer model a straightforward choice. The C6 is said to deliver a peak HDR brightness over 250 nits higher than the C5, giving bright scenes extra punch. Colors are described as more vibrant and natural, and the TV reportedly removes the 'green tint' that has affected some LG OLED panels.

The set is equipped with LG's flagship Alpha a11 Gen 3 processor, marking the first time the C-series has used it, which improves responsiveness and enables additional picture processing. For gaming, the C6 supports 4K 165Hz, full variable refresh rate including G-Sync and FreeSync, Dolby Vision gaming and auto low-latency mode across four HDMI 2.1 ports. TechRadar measured an input lag of 9.2ms and called it an excellent gaming TV.

The outlet also highlighted other TV promotions in the Labor Day sales, such as the 55-inch LG B6E at Best Buy for $799.99, a Sony Bravia 8 OLED at $2,499.99 and an entry-level LG B6 OLED. Among these, the LG C6 was listed as the top recommendation.
