LG Innotek to supply camera modules for Amazon's Zoox robotaxis in a first for the company, Yonhap reports.

According to Yonhap, Zoox was acquired by Amazon in 2020 and established what it calls the world's first robotaxi production facility in California last year. The company began offering paid robotaxi services to the general public in Las Vegas on Aug. 10.

Zoox's robotaxis are designed to operate without driver intervention and feature four passenger seats arranged to face one another, with no steering wheel.
