LiberNovo Maxis Office Chair for Big-and-Tall Users Falls to $849 in Prime Day Deal
LiberNovo's Maxis ergonomic office chair, built for taller and broader users, drops to $849 at Amazon from $1,119, with a UK deal at £833 during Prime Day.
The discount applies to the Graphite chair-only configuration of the manual version, which Amazon lists as an exclusive Prime deal, TechRadar reported. In the UK, the Maxis is priced at £833, down from £1,086, when a Prime Day voucher is applied. The same promotion includes deals on the electric version of the chair, which ships with a footrest.
The manual and electric Maxis models are designed specifically for big-and-tall body types and fit users up to roughly 6ft 7in, according to the manufacturer. LiberNovo rates the chair for a maximum user weight of 399lb, which is above the 350lb ceiling common among many big-and-tall office chairs. The chair has five lockable recline positions between 105° and 160°, an extended-range headrest, adjustable armrests, a flared base and manual lumbar adjustment.
At $849, the chair is $270, or 24 percent, below Amazon's $1,119 typical price. TechRadar said it had not previously recorded a lower price for the Maxis; the previous low was $939, offered briefly in September. The publication noted that LiberNovo has discounted other models sharply before, with its Omni chair falling from $1,297 to $921.99 at Amazon in March.
TechRadar said it has not tested the Maxis Manual itself. Its reviewer Collin gave the LiberNovo Omni 4.5 stars and the publication lists the Omni among the best chairs it has tested, with the reviewer still using one.
In its buying guidance, TechRadar said the Maxis Manual suits tall or broad users who sit for long hours and want a wider frame, a deeper recline and extensive adjustment. It advised average-sized buyers who do not need the extra width, as well as shoppers on a budget, to skip the chair.
