Lingverse iKairos combines desktop robot companion with AI pendant at IFA 2026

The device sits at a desk to observe and interact with users like other desktop AI robots. Users can detach it from its robot body and slot it into a necklace to carry it while on the move, allowing it to learn about the user's life from different perspectives.

iKairos captures contextual data across multiple environments and feeds it into LifeOS, Lingverse's AI operating system. The system then uses the data to surface relevant suggestions. In one example shared by Lingverse, the device recognizes that sailing is a recurring topic of conversation and recommends that the wearer take a sailing lesson on the weekend.

Lingverse is also highlighting privacy protections for iKairos. The hardware includes a physical camera shutter, a privacy indicator light and a manual mute button. The company says all data is encrypted in transit and at rest, that it will not use user data to train its AI models, and that users control how long their information is stored.

Longer term, the company says the aim is for iKairos to develop a detailed understanding of users' habits, work, friends and conversations. That information could then be used to power at-home robots by integrating iKairos into a robotic body or accessory.

Lingverse has not set a price or announced a launch timeline. Interested users can join a waitlist through the Lingverse website.
