Linkind Smart Light Stick turns a standard porch socket into a flickering flame light for $32.99
Linkind has released the Smart Light Stick, a $32.99 bulb that screws into a standard E26 socket and combines a flickering flame effect with full-color lighting and up to 850 lumens of brightness, according to Android Authority.
The flame effect is built from warm oranges and reds that move through the fixture rather than pulse on and off as a single block of light. The Smart Light Stick carries 160 LEDs across 50 separately controlled color zones, and users can enlarge or shrink the flame, choose between a single warm tone and a two-color blend that shifts as it flickers, and change how fast the effect moves. A 310-degree beam angle spreads light widely enough to fill a room or a porch corner instead of producing a narrow spotlight cone, according to Android Authority.
Outside flame mode, the same 50 zones support gradient shifts across the color spectrum, a warm glow for winding down in the evening, or dimmed lighting for watching television. The AiDot app offers 16 million colors, and group control lets up to 16 Smart Light Sticks run the same pattern together across a room or a line of outdoor fixtures.
Linkind's Dotis AI generates effects and color combinations from written prompts, so users can describe a mood and have a matching pattern assembled instead of adjusting individual color sliders. The bulb also includes Music Sync, which makes the lighting react to sound, scheduled on-and-off lighting, and a night light mode that keeps a soft glow running overnight.
The Smart Light Stick connects over Wi-Fi and Bluetooth and supports Matter, which the report said makes it compatible with Apple Home, Amazon Alexa, Google Home and Samsung SmartThings. Its polycarbonate and aluminum housing is built with UV resistance for outdoor sconces and patio fixtures as well as indoor lamps, and an automatic upright sensor adjusts the flame orientation to match how the fixture is mounted, so the effect reads correctly whether the bulb points up or down.
The Smart Light Stick is priced at $32.99 and is available directly from Linkind or through Amazon, according to Android Authority.
