Logitech MX Anywhere 3S wireless mouse drops to $69.99 at Amazon
TechRadar reports the Logitech MX Anywhere 3S is $69.99 at Amazon, $20 below its $89.99 list price, with glass-surface tracking, quiet clicks, multi-device Bluetooth and up to 70 days of battery life.
The mouse uses an 8,000 DPI Darkfield sensor that TechRadar says can track on a wide range of surfaces, including glass at least 4mm thick. It weighs 99g and measures around 100mm long, making it small enough for a laptop bag. TechRadar’s description includes six buttons, USB-C charging, three-device Bluetooth connectivity and up to 70 days of battery life. The MagSpeed wheel can scroll through up to 1,000 lines per second, and horizontal scrolling can be activated by holding a side button while turning the wheel. Options+ software lets users assign shortcuts and create application-specific settings in Windows and macOS.
TechRadar said the 3S improves on the earlier MX Anywhere 3 with quieter clicks, which it said will be welcome in shared workspaces. In a four-star review of the earlier version, TechRadar expert Nick said: “Despite its small size, the Logitech MX Anywhere 3 packs plenty of features seen in some of Logitech’s more advanced models. Scrolling through documents or websites is ridiculously satisfactory, and its ability to work across multiple surfaces is a traveler’s dream.”
The $69.99 price is $20 below the $89.99 list price, though TechRadar said it has seen the mouse as low as $60 in the past and that it could get cheaper around Black Friday. TechRadar’s buying advice says the MX Anywhere 3S is a good fit for people who regularly use a laptop away from their usual desk and want a reliable mouse that can track on almost any surface, or for those who use several computers. It says buyers who mainly browse the web occasionally and do not need advanced features can choose a basic wireless mouse that costs considerably less.
