Logitech Spot sensors gain 10 new integrations to boost office comfort

Logitech expands its Spot office sensors with 10 new integrations, letting facility teams act on environmental data through platforms like Robin and Zoom.

Spot analyzes presence and occupancy, temperature, humidity, CO2 levels, VOCs, particulate matter and barometric pressure. Through Logitech's CollabOS and Sync Cloud APIs, third-party platforms can integrate the data to adjust room allocation, check for unused meeting rooms, automatically check in guests, forecast demand and reveal environmental or comfort issues. The data can also be combined with other sources such as office floor plans and historical usage patterns.

Henry Levak, general manager of Team Workspace Solutions at Logitech, said facilities and IT teams no longer have to guess where to cut costs or invest. "By connecting with the tools our customers already use daily, building healthier, automated, and far more efficient workplaces is easier than ever," he said.

Spot is priced at $499, though it is also built into some other hardware and requires an active subscription to unlock full connectivity, TechRadar reported.
