Mengma LARK A2 Wireless Mic Ties into Tencent WorkBuddy as Native AI Voice Portal

Mengma LARK A2 becomes the first native hardware voice portal for Tencent WorkBuddy, enabling button-controlled AI input.

The product targets users who rely on AI assistance for programming and content ideation. Since their requests often emerge and evolve during tasks, they need to supplement or revise input frequently. The LARK A2 integrates wake-up, deletion and instruction triggers into its body keys, letting users communicate with WorkBuddy without reaching for a mouse or keyboard. In the default AI interaction mode, a single key press wakes WorkBuddy's voice input, a long press deletes the input, and a double press sends the command. The microphone contributes sound capture, wireless transmission and key handling, while WorkBuddy processes the received content and executes tasks.

For clean speech capture, the LARK A2 uses high-sensitivity pickup elements that can record soft-spoken descriptions in an office environment. It also supports MOMA Smart-Sound, a dual noise-reduction system that can be turned on from the receiver or a web interface, reducing ambient interference before audio is sent to software commands.

The device is built to fit moving work patterns. It weighs little, provides seven hours of voice collaboration time on a full charge, and supports fast charging. Its transmission range reaches up to 200 meters in an open area without obstructions, giving users freedom to walk around while staying connected. The LARK A2 supports both a conventional recording mode for mobile shooting and an AI interaction mode when connected to a computer.

According to the report, this co-branded microphone broadens the use of wireless audio hardware beyond vlogging, live streaming and interviews into everyday AI scenarios like coding, office tasks and learning. It also marks Mengma's exploration of syncing audio-video hardware with AI agents. Both parties plan to continue working together on software-hardware integration.
