Miaolante Launches Xiaoyuan AI Overseas Business Agent, Lists on Tencent WorkBuddy

Miaolante launched Xiaoyuan AI, an AI overseas business agent for Chinese foreign trade companies, at the Global Digital Trade Expo in Hangzhou on Sept. 23, 2026. The product covers buyer analysis, outreach and exhibition planning, and is now available on Tencent WorkBuddy through MCP.

According to the report, Xiaoyuan AI is not a general assistant with an overseas version. It is an agent born from overseas business scenarios and relies on Miaolante's more than 30 years of overseas service experience, overseas exhibition operation scenarios, tens of millions of global professional buyer data and millions of real inquiries. It combines industry knowledge, business data and practice methods into callable professional capabilities covering key links of overseas business operations.

The report described the capability system as five tasks, three values and four intelligences. The five tasks are market insight, buyer analysis, customer review, content marketing and exhibition planning. Market insight combines products, industries and target countries to sort out demand, channels, competition and trade information and give opportunity judgments and promotion suggestions. Buyer analysis uses buyer data and recent signals such as procurement, exhibition participation and interaction to judge matching and heat, and provides decision-maker emails, WhatsApp and other contact information. Customer review judges priorities based on interaction and business background so that new opportunities are followed up in a timely and continuous way. Content marketing organizes development emails, social content and multilingual expression. Exhibition planning connects buyer invitations, on-site communication and post-exhibition follow-up.

The three values are growth, accumulation and replication. The report said buyers want growth, and Xiaoyuan AI understands overseas business through buyer data and industry knowledge, helping capture growth opportunities in both opportunity and outreach stages. Buyers want accumulation, and Xiaoyuan AI has memory, so each business operation becomes the enterprise's own knowledge asset and experience is not lost. Buyers want replication, and Xiaoyuan AI is self-evolving, turning methods into reusable SOPs that become faster and stronger with use.

The four intelligences are opportunity intelligence, outreach intelligence, transaction intelligence and operation intelligence. Opportunity intelligence helps discover buyers and opportunities. Outreach intelligence builds trust through channels such as email and WhatsApp. Transaction intelligence supports communication, quotations and negotiations to advance deals. Operation intelligence accumulates and reuses results and feedback. The four form a closed loop, allowing market judgments, buyer profiles, development content, communication records and negotiation experience to be continuously collected within the enterprise's authorization and gradually converted into searchable, callable and reusable market assets, customer assets, content assets and method assets. Enterprises thus turn repeated overseas practices into replicable organizational capabilities.

The report said Xiaoyuan AI plans to adopt a charging method of recharge plus token consumption. It described this as lightweight, transparent and on-demand, lowering the threshold for overseas enterprises to adopt AI.

On ecosystem cooperation, Xiaoyuan AI chose a strategy of professional capabilities times a super entrance. It has been officially listed on Tencent WorkBuddy as an ecosystem partner for WorkBuddy's overseas business scenarios. Enterprises do not need to leave their familiar work entrance; they can state their goals and call Xiaoyuan AI's overseas professional capabilities. The two sides connect through MCP, the Model Context Protocol. Users can directly call Xiaoyuan AI's vertical foreign trade capabilities such as buyer matching, development letter generation and exhibition customer acquisition inside the WorkBuddy workbench without switching platforms. WorkBuddy's general AI office capabilities and Xiaoyuan AI's overseas professional capabilities are combined to create a complete AI overseas business agent experience.

The report placed the launch in a broader AI office competition. In late August, ByteDance officially released Doubao Work, integrating TRAE and Coze into the Doubao system and using Feishu's organizational capabilities as a base. In early August, Alibaba integrated QoderWork, Wukong and MuleRun into Qianwen Office, aiming at the enterprise market in the DingTalk ecosystem. Tencent integrated the QClaw team and built WorkBuddy into a leading AI-native desktop office agent in China by user scale. The competition focus has shifted from who answers more accurately to who gets things done. Overseas, Anthropic recently published a systematic discussion of recursive self-improvement, saying AI systems are evolving along a continuum from humans writing code to AI-assisted programming to autonomous agents to closed-loop self-evolution. Research and industry exploration around self-evolving agents has also landed, from DeepMind's self-improvement in algorithm discovery to recursively self-improving agents such as AREX driven by a verify-improve loop. AI penetration into overseas scenarios is also accelerating. Alibaba International launched the full-chain AI agent Accio Work, whose AI engine has more than 1 billion daily calls. Amazon uses Rufus to rebuild search and recommendation logic. Salesforce launched Agentforce, an agent product for enterprise customer operations, embedding AI agent capabilities into sales, service and commerce workflows.

The report said the industry consensus is becoming clear: general agents solve breadth, while deep cultivation of vertical scenarios determines depth. Against this background, the question is who can upgrade AI from an office assistant to a business partner for Chinese overseas enterprises.
