Miaomolang Launches Xiaoyuan AI Overseas Business Agent, Lists on Tencent WorkBuddy
Miaomolang launched Xiaoyuan AI, an AI overseas business agent for Chinese foreign trade firms, at the fifth Global Digital Trade Expo in Hangzhou on Sept. 23, 2026. The product is now available on Tencent WorkBuddy via MCP, offering buyer matching, development letter generation and exhibition customer acquisition.
Xiaoyuan AI is described as an agent native to overseas business scenarios rather than an overseas edition of a general assistant. It draws on Miaomolang's more than 30 years of overseas service experience, overseas exhibition operations, data on tens of millions of global professional buyers, and millions of real inquiries, combining industry knowledge, business data, and practical methods into callable professional capabilities. According to the report, it covers key links in overseas business operations.
Its capabilities are organized into five tasks: market insight, buyer analysis, customer review, content marketing, and exhibition planning. Market insight combines products, industries, and target countries to sort demand, channels, competition, and trade information, and to give opportunity judgments and suggestions. Buyer analysis uses buyer data and recent signals such as procurement, exhibition participation, and interactions to judge match and interest, and provides contact information including decision-makers' email addresses and WhatsApp. Customer review judges priorities based on interactions and business context. Content marketing organizes development emails, social content, and multilingual expression. Exhibition planning connects buyer invitations, on-site communication, and post-exhibition follow-up.
The product also lists three values: growth, accumulation, and replication. Growth refers to using buyer data and industry knowledge to capture opportunities in both business opportunities and outreach. Accumulation means each operation is stored as the enterprise's own knowledge asset. Replication means methods become reusable SOPs. Four intelligences form a closed loop: opportunity intelligence, outreach intelligence, transaction intelligence, and operations intelligence. These connect market judgment, buyer profiles, development content, communication records, and negotiation experience so that they can be converted into market, customer, content, and method assets within the enterprise's authorization scope.
Xiaoyuan AI plans to use a 'recharge plus token consumption' charging model. The report describes it as lightweight, transparent, and consumption-based, lowering the threshold for overseas trade companies to adopt AI.
On ecosystem cooperation, Xiaoyuan AI has been listed on Tencent WorkBuddy. The two sides connect through MCP, or Model Context Protocol. Users can call Xiaoyuan AI's vertical foreign trade capabilities, such as buyer matching, development letter generation, and exhibition customer acquisition, directly in the WorkBuddy workspace without switching platforms. WorkBuddy's general AI office capabilities and Xiaoyuan AI's overseas professional capabilities are combined to create an 'AI overseas business agent' experience.
The launch comes amid competition among Chinese technology companies in AI office tools. According to the report, ByteDance released Doubao Work in late August, merging TRAE and Coze into the Doubao system with Feishu organization capabilities as the base. Alibaba integrated QoderWork, Wukong, and MuleRun into Qianwen Office in early August, targeting the enterprise market in the DingTalk ecosystem. Tencent integrated the QClaw team and built WorkBuddy into a domestic AI-native desktop office agent with a leading user scale. Overseas, Anthropic recently published a systematic discussion of recursive self-improvement, while DeepMind has worked on self-improvement in algorithm discovery and AREX has used validation-improvement loops for deep research. Alibaba International Station launched Accio Work, with its AI engine exceeding 1 billion daily calls; Amazon uses Rufus to reshape search and recommendation; Salesforce launched Agentforce for enterprise customer operations.
The report describes the industry consensus as general agents solving breadth while vertical scenario depth determines depth. Xiaoyuan AI's path is described as professional capability times super entry, with the product aiming to give overseas companies an AI business partner in a familiar office environment.
