Microsoft Surface Pro 2026 Drops $450 to $1,649.99 on Amazon

Microsoft's 2026 Surface Pro, a 13-inch Snapdragon X2 Elite 2-in-1 with 16GB of RAM and a 1TB SSD, is discounted $450 to $1,649.99 on Amazon, according to TechRadar.

The discounted configuration pairs the 12-core Snapdragon X2 Elite with 16GB of RAM, a 1TB SSD and integrated Adreno graphics. The 13-inch PixelSense OLED touchscreen runs at 2880 x 1920 with a maximum brightness of 600 nits. Microsoft rates battery life at up to 15.5 hours. The tablet carries two USB-C/USB4 ports for charging, data transfer and external displays, along with Bluetooth 5.4, Windows 11 and an integrated kickstand.

The $450 reduction works out to roughly 21.4% off the original price. TechRadar noted that it is not the lowest price the model has reached, having previously seen it listed at $1,599.99.

TechRadar recommends the device for buyers who want a premium Windows tablet that can serve as a laptop, citing the OLED display, 1TB of storage and the current-generation processor. The outlet advises against it for people who mostly work at a desk, need dedicated graphics for demanding games or GPU-intensive professional software, or prefer a conventional laptop with an attached keyboard.

As an alternative, TechRadar pointed to a 13.8-inch Surface Laptop with a Snapdragon X2 Plus processor, a 120Hz PixelSense LCD touchscreen, 16GB of RAM, a 512GB SSD, Wi-Fi 7, two USB4 ports, Windows 11, Copilot+ AI features and integrated graphics.

The Surface Pro line combines tablet portability with Windows laptop capability, and the 2026 model is the latest entry in that format.
