Motorola’s rumored Razr Wide Fold may pack a 6.92-inch 165Hz display, 5,000mAh battery and Snapdragon 8 Gen 5, new leaks say.
The new reports include physical mock-ups that show rounded edges and a body that looks small and chunky. Leaked dimensions suggest the Razr Wide Fold will be thicker than the Galaxy Z Fold 8. The same leaks point to dual 50MP rear cameras, 32MP selfie cameras and Qi2 charging.
Motorola has not officially announced the device. The company has long made clamshell foldables and earlier this year expanded into the book-style foldable market. A widescreen Razr would extend its foldable lineup into a format that has gained attention following Samsung’s lead. The product remains in the rumor stage.
Reports about Motorola’s widescreen foldable plans have circulated for a while. Previous leaks included sketches and a briefly teased silhouette. The latest Android Headlines reports provide the clearest look yet at mock-ups and specifications, though no launch date or price has been confirmed.
If the leaks are accurate, the Razr Wide Fold would compete in the growing widescreen foldable segment. Its 6.92-inch 165Hz display would be paired with a 5,000mAh battery, dual 50MP rear cameras and 32MP selfie cameras. Qi2 charging support and Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 power are also mentioned in the leaks. The rumored mid-December timing would place it near the end of the year.
