Motorola Starts Android 17 Rollout for Razr Ultra 2025
Motorola has begun pushing stable Android 17 to the Razr Ultra 2025, also called the Razr 60 Ultra outside North America, with early US availability reported on unlocked models.
A Reddit user in the northeastern United States reported waking up to find Android 17 already installed on an unlocked Razr Ultra 2025. The user said the phone is an unlocked AT&T model running on US Mobile. The report did not specify how widely the update has reached other users or which carriers are participating beyond that early sighting.
The Razr Ultra 2025 rollout follows Android 17 releases for newer and other Motorola devices. Android Authority reported that the Razr Ultra 2026 and several other devices received the update earlier this month. The 2025 model is a year older than the 2026 Razr Ultra, and the update brings the latest Android version to existing owners as attention remains on when Motorola will bring its Signature 27 flagship to the US.
Motorola has not announced a broader US rollout schedule in the report. For now, the available information points to a limited release for unlocked Razr Ultra 2025 units, with the Reddit report offering one early example of the update arriving on a device in the Northeast.
