Motorola Teases Signature 27 Flagship, Confirms Bang & Olufsen Audio Partnership
Motorola teases Signature 27 speakers and rear design, and confirms a global audio partnership with Bang & Olufsen.
The teaser was posted on X on September 22, 2026, and was framed as an announcement of the collaboration between Motorola and the Danish audio brand. The clip shows parts of the phone, including the back of the device and the top speaker grille. It confirms that the Signature 27 will carry speakers at both the top and bottom of the handset for stereo sound, a detail the company had not previously stated outright.
The partnership means Motorola's premium devices, beginning with the Signature 27, will carry tuning by Bang & Olufsen and "Audio by Bang & Olufsen" branding. In a blog post announcing the collaboration, Motorola said the work would extend beyond tuning to custom sound modes and new user experiences. The company did not specify what those new experiences would be.
Earlier teasers have already confirmed several specifications for the phone. It will use a 200-megapixel Sony LYTIA sensor, although Android Authority notes that Motorola has not identified the exact model and that it could be the Sony LYTIA 901. The phone is also confirmed to support 100x Super Zoom and Dolby Vision.
Motorola plans to debut the Signature 27 at the Snapdragon Summit, the same event where Qualcomm is expected to share details of its latest chipsets. Motorola has not announced pricing or a release date for the device.
