MOVA Garden Tools Deepens European Dealer Push at GaLaBau 2026, Debuts Autonomous Ride-On Mower

MOVA Garden Tools showed its 20V, 40V and 60V garden tool matrix alongside robotic mowers at GaLaBau 2026 in Nuremberg, Sept. 15-18, seeking to expand European dealer channels and professional landscaping business.

During the fair, distributors, channel partners and professional users from Germany and other European markets discussed intelligent lawn management, product combinations, adaptation to professional scenarios and follow-up channel cooperation with MOVA Garden Tools.

A head of a German professional garden tool dealership said after trying the intelligent autonomous ride-on mower that the machine can either be driven by the user or work autonomously on large lawns and produce customized grass patterns. Such intelligence, combining manual operation with autonomous work, better matches actual application needs, according to the report.

A head of a European professional garden equipment dealership said a complete garden tool matrix combined with robotic mowers can cover more end-user demand than a single product and offers dealers more room to operate a broader category. A category procurement manager at a leading German chain supermarket said professional users no longer need only tools with stronger single-product performance, but overall solutions that cover different work scenarios and time dimensions.

The tool matrix spans high-frequency tasks including trimming, blowing, cutting, mowing and snow clearing, while the robotic mowers move into intelligent lawn management. Together they form an offering that runs from routine garden maintenance to intelligent lawn care. During the fair, MOVA Garden Tools concentrated on showing the 20V, 40V and 60V tiers alongside the robotic mowers, and on-site discussions extended from single-product experience to market rollout and channel cooperation.

The intelligent autonomous ride-on mower drew particular attention. Large-area lawn maintenance is among the more time-consuming and repetitive tasks in professional landscaping. Conventional ride-on equipment raises efficiency but still requires a person to drive continuously. Unlike small robotic mowers aimed mainly at routine upkeep of fixed yard areas, MOVA's product integrates autonomous driving, intelligent path planning and precise mowing into a ride-on format, seeking to move large-area lawn management from a person driving a machine toward autonomous machine operation.

According to MOVA Garden Tools, the product uses multi-dimensional environmental perception and intelligent algorithms covering precise positioning, mapping, intelligent path planning and omnidirectional obstacle sensing, giving the ride-on mower the perception, positioning, decision-making and execution capabilities needed for autonomous work. Users can operate it in manual ride-on mode or let it complete large-area lawn work autonomously. With a personalized lawn stripe function, it can also produce customized results for different lawn care requirements. The company points to high-end home yards, estate lawns, property green spaces and open grassland management as potential applications.

Beyond indoor exhibits, GaLaBau set up an outdoor demonstration area. MOVA brought its 60V flagship garden tool series into the live outdoor area, letting professional visitors observe power output, handling and working efficiency under real conditions. For landscaping firms, landscape maintenance teams, farms and property managers, equipment often has to withstand long periods of continuous operation, varying vegetation conditions and complex outdoor environments, making handling, stability in continuous work and coordination between devices important considerations beyond static specifications.

The 60V chainsaw, blower and hedge trimmer were among the most tried products. The chainsaw targets high-load cutting with a 3600W outer-rotor brushless motor and a maximum chain speed of 26 m/s, aimed at continuous work such as cutting roughly 30cm hardwood, tree trimming and thick branch cutting. The blower combines turbocharging and jet propulsion to deliver up to 28N of concentrated blowing force, mainly for wet leaves, gravel and heavier debris, and includes a static neutralization system to reduce static effects in dry, dusty conditions. The hedge trimmer focuses on continuous hedge trimming, is designed for cutting thicker branches, and uses a suspended damping structure to reduce vibration during long working sessions.

For markets including Germany and northeastern Europe, yards, estates, public green spaces and farm surroundings create practical demand for efficient, reliable and easy-to-maintain garden tools. How to adapt a high-performance lithium platform and intelligent capabilities to different regional environments was one focus of discussions at the fair.

Some European channel partners discussed local product experience, adaptation to professional user scenarios, introduction of product portfolios and ways to cooperate on channels. For dealers, the evaluation standard is shifting from whether a single product is competitive to whether a brand can provide a sustained portfolio, professional scenario coverage and long-term room to operate the category.

MOVA Garden Tools said it will continue to work on intelligent technology, lithium platforms, a professional tool ecosystem and channel systems to improve product fit and market rollout in professional landscaping scenarios. With the garden tool matrix and robotic mowers entering dealer channels, the company is trying to build broader coverage from conventional garden work to intelligent lawn management.

Editor's Summary

MOVA Garden Tools exhibited its 20V, 40V and 60V garden tool matrix and robotic mowers at GaLaBau 2026 in Nuremberg, with the autonomous ride-on mower and 60V outdoor demonstrations drawing professional attention. The company used the fair to deepen talks with European dealers and distributors, whose interest is shifting toward complete product portfolios and scenario coverage rather than single-product performance. The event marked another step in MOVA's effort to link its garden tool range with intelligent lawn management in professional markets.
