MSI Cyborg 15 With RTX 5050 Drops to $899 at Walmart
Walmart cut the MSI Cyborg 15 with Intel i5, 16GB RAM and RTX 5050 graphics to $899 from $1,299, TechRadar says.
TechRadar said the configuration includes an Intel Core i5 processor, 16GB of DDR5 RAM, an RTX 5050 graphics card and a 512GB SSD inside a 15.6-inch chassis with a 144Hz display. The publication said the components are not the highest-end but are more than capable of running less-demanding games, indie titles and older games such as Fortnite, Roblox and League of Legends at 1080p.
TechRadar said the 512GB SSD is “a little stingy in 2026” but enough to keep a number of modern titles installed at once, though users may need to delete games they no longer play. It added that graphics settings will need to be lowered in some games for smooth performance, which it said is expected given the components, and that the laptop is an ideal 1080p gaming machine if that suits a buyer’s needs.
TechRadar said it had tested previous versions of the Cyborg 15 and awarded the laptop four stars, concluding in its review that it is “a solid budget gaming laptop.” It also noted that Walmart is not usually the first retailer it thinks of for gaming laptops but said the deal surprised it.
