Munbyn RW403B thermal label printer now $80 at Amazon, TechRadar says
TechRadar reports the Munbyn RW403B Bluetooth thermal label printer is on sale for $80 at Amazon, down from $120, and calls it the best shipping label printer it has tested.
In the UK, the same printer is now on sale for £70 at Amazon, reduced from £95. The compact thermal printer supports label widths from 1.57 to 4.25 inches, prints 4 x 6-inch shipping labels without requiring ink or toner, and connects via Bluetooth to Android, iPhone, Windows, macOS, and Chromebook devices. Other features include Munbyn's DAC auto-calibration to reduce label misalignment, 0.1mm text legibility for small fonts and barcodes, and a noise rating of 60dB, which the reviewer says makes it suitable for home offices or shared workspaces.
TechRadar's reviewer, Jim, gave the RW403B a 4.5-star rating, writing that it is "easy to set up and operate," with "the robust design feels like it’s built to last and the print quality is better than most label printers." He also noted that after the initial purchase there are no ongoing ink costs, as thermal labels can be bought inexpensively.
At $79.99, the current U.S. price represents a 33% discount from the standard $119.99 price. TechRadar notes that the printer has been slightly cheaper before, with a low of $76 observed, but the difference is only $4 less than today's deal.
The publication recommends the printer for users who regularly pack and ship orders and want to streamline the process, particularly small businesses and frequent online sellers. However, it advises against buying the RW403B if color output is needed, since the printer is monochrome and designed primarily for practical labels. Potential buyers should also note that the printer's maximum 4.25-inch print width cannot handle regular letter-size documents, and occasional users may find printing labels on an ordinary printer sufficient.
