Narwal Unveils Full-Home Smart Cleaning Lineup at Berlin Event, Sets Sights on Embodied Intelligence

Narwal held its 2026 fall global brand launch in Berlin, presenting a full-home cleaning product portfolio and outlining a decade-long, user-driven push toward embodied intelligence.

According to a report by Leiphone.com, media, partners and industry guests from multiple countries attended the event. Zhang said Narwal was “born among users” and that for the past decade the company had started from real-life observations, paid attention to users’ actual cleaning problems and used technology to solve them. “This is the recurring starting point of Narwal innovation and the direction that will drive us forward in the next ten years,” he said.

The company traced its history back to the J1, which it described as the world’s first robot vacuum able to automatically clean its own mop, marking the beginning of the self-cleaning era. Subsequent models added automatic water filling and drainage on the J2, dirt recognition on the J3 and hair-tangle-free technology on the J4. Narwal said all these features came from ongoing observation of users’ lifestyles, citing 420,000 user reviews as part of its design research.

In Berlin, Narwal highlighted NarMind, its full-scene smart perception system upgraded to version 2.0, which uses two RGB high-definition cameras and an autopilot-grade computing chip. The system is meant to help robots move beyond identifying objects to understanding scene context, such as recognizing pet stains and avoiding them, adapting movement in rooms with infants to lower noise, and selecting appropriate cleaning strategies for different types of dirt. Narwal also promoted its hot-water track mop system, featuring a 7x wider track mop, continuous hot-water cleaning and 12N constant downward pressure to avoid spreading dirt.

The newly showcased products included the Xiaoyao 003 series, described as a high-end intelligent flagship, and the JX series, a ten-year-anniversary edition with flagship sweeping and mopping capabilities. Both run NarMind 2.0. Narwal also presented the new S3 Steam floor washer, which combines steam and hot water for deep cleaning of stubborn floor stains, as well as the V50 vacuum and U50 Cube mite remover for dust and mite removal across furniture and bedding.

Zhang said technology should serve life itself, and ideal living should be not only convenient and efficient but also quality-oriented and aesthetic. Narwal said it has made systematic noise reduction efforts across components and structures, added an AI dual robotic arm system to reach edges and corners, and refined handle ergonomics, center-of-gravity balance and storage convenience for hand-held devices. The company also described the design of its ultra-thin dock and the Xiaoyao 003 Ultra Glacier Collection Edition, which uses a polar-glacier aesthetic to blend into home environments.

According to Leiphone.com, Narwal has entered more than 30 countries and regions and served over 6 million users. The company said it was ranked by AVC (All View Cloud) as having the highest online positive-review rate among robot vacuum brands in the Chinese market in 2025. Looking ahead, Zhang said the future home needs not only a floor-cleaning device but an intelligent housekeeper that can understand cleaning needs and living environments. Narwal said it is expanding from cleaning at 8 cm above the floor to tasks at 1.2 meters and then 2 meters, enabling robots to enter more real-life scenes and handle more complex household responsibilities.
