Neolix raises nearly $400 million Series E to expand global unmanned delivery
Neolix completed a nearly $400 million Series E round, the largest single autonomous driving financing in China this year, and plans to expand its unmanned delivery network and end-to-end model training.
The round was co-led by Boyu Investment and a national-level fund. Participants included Alibaba AEF NextGen Hong Kong Fund, Monolith, GGV Capital, Vertex Growth under Temasek, Huaying Capital, GAC Capital, Jinding Capital, Longma Peak Venture Capital, CP Robot, Navigator New Frontier and Gaohu Capital, while early and long-term shareholders including Stone Venture, Yunqi Partners, SoftBank Asia, Yizhuang Guotou and CDH VGC continued to invest. Gaohu Capital served as exclusive financial advisor. Neolix's cumulative financing has exceeded RMB 10 billion, the largest in the unmanned delivery vehicle industry.
Neolix said it continues to lead in fleet size, with what it describes as the world's largest autonomous driving fleet. Its delivery scenarios start from e-commerce express and extend to logistics services for shippers through a capacity network, which the company says helps customers cut costs and improve efficiency. On technology, Neolix is developing a vision-based end-to-end large model and a unified cloud-edge-vehicle architecture, creating an operations-data-algorithm data flywheel that supports scaled operations and efficiency gains.
In globalization, Neolix said it was the first in the industry to start layout and has the largest overseas delivery scale among unmanned delivery vehicle companies, with deployments in the Middle East, Europe, East Asia, Southeast Asia and Australia.
Policy support has also accelerated. In July, the Ministry of Transport said it would push digital and intelligent transport logistics during the 15th Five-Year Plan period and plan pilot programs for standardized application of unmanned express vehicles. In August, the National Development and Reform Commission and the Ministry of Transport issued the Logistics Network Construction Implementation Plan, naming unmanned delivery and low-altitude logistics equipment for commercial operation in express and instant delivery. In September, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and eight other departments issued the 15th Five-Year Plan for the intelligent connected new energy vehicle industry, calling for multi-scenario pilot applications of functional unmanned vehicles.
Boyu Investment said Neolix was the first in the industry to explore a Robovan-based capacity network covering the whole country, providing unmanned capacity services to benchmark customers and achieving scaled delivery in multiple overseas countries, which validated the company's global competitiveness. Boyu said it would continue to support Neolix's leading position and help Chinese technology companies expand overseas.
Yu Enyuan, founder of Neolix, said that integrating autonomous driving into daily logistics and creating real net economic returns is becoming a pillar of modern economic circulation. He said Neolix hopes to build an efficient and reliable unmanned vehicle capacity network and use AI to drive global unmanned logistics infrastructure.
After the financing, Neolix will put the funds into two areas: deepening its refined operations network and accelerating localized service hubs in major global regions to build a more responsive global customer fulfillment network; and increasing investment in closed-loop data training for its end-to-end large model to raise safety and vehicle performance and further lower full-lifecycle operation and maintenance costs.
