Newegg Labor Day Deal: 32GB Kingston Fury Beast DDR4-3200 Kit Nearly Half Price at $179.99 with Code

According to TechRadar, Newegg's Labor Day sale drops the 32GB Kingston Fury Beast DDR4-3200 kit to $179.99 with code LDSF224, nearly half its usual $349.99 price.

The kit consists of two 16GB DDR4-3200 modules with CL16 latency, 16-20-20 timings, 1.35V operation, Intel XMP 2.0 support, and dual-channel capability. The black heat spreaders are low-profile and designed for builds without RGB lighting. TechRadar notes the kit is suitable for everyday workloads and gaming on systems that still support DDR4.

Newegg has already reduced the price from $349.99 to $249.99, saving $100, and the code LDSF224 cuts another $70, bringing the total to $179.99. According to TechRadar, this represents a $170 saving and comes at a time when memory prices are typically high.

TechRadar recommends the kit for desktop users with DDR4 systems who currently have 8GB or 16GB of memory, as upgrading to 32GB provides considerably more headroom for demanding applications without replacing the rest of the system. It also highlights that the two modules enable dual-channel operation and that Intel XMP 2.0 makes it easy to apply the advertised 3200MT/s profile on supported motherboards.

However, TechRadar advises skipping the kit if building a completely new PC on a modern platform that supports DDR5, since DDR4 and DDR5 are not interchangeable and buying DDR4 would restrict future motherboard and processor choices.

Shoppers must enter the coupon code LDSF224 at checkout to receive the $179.99 price. TechRadar also cautions buyers to check their motherboard’s memory specifications and compatibility, noting that achieving DDR4-3200 speed depends on the system’s capabilities and configuration.
