Ninja DoubleStack Air Fryer Hits AU$179 in Amazon Prime Big Deal Days, TechRadar Reports

TechRadar named the DoubleStack XXL its pick for the best overall air fryer in Australia. The model uses two drawers stacked on top of each other instead of side by side, so it occupies the same counter space as a single-drawer air fryer, the outlet said. Each drawer holds 4.75 liters and should feed two to three people, while the appliance's cooking performance was described as exemplary.

TechRadar Lifestyle Managing Editor Josephine Watson said in her review that “Everything I cooked came out just as good as I’d expected, with perfectly crispy chicken wings without the need for a drop of oil, and gorgeous fluffy fries with the perfect amount of bite.” Watson also highlighted the extra stainless steel racks, which can be placed above the main crisper plate to add cooking surface area. The review noted that the stacked form factor cannot accommodate some larger foods that a conventional two-basket air fryer can, and that its regular price is relatively high; TechRadar said the AU$179 discount addresses that price concern.

TechRadar further included the Ninja Crispi, a compact 1,700-watt air fryer with two borosilicate glassware containers that serve as both frying baskets and serving dishes. According to the publication, the borosilicate glass can withstand extreme temperatures, making it easier to take food from frozen to crispy, and it is safer to use than a non-stick basket. The Crispi comes with two removable crisping grates and two snap-on container lids for food storage. TechRadar also noted the Philips 5000 Series Dual Basket XXL Air Fryer Steam, saying in a review that it cooks everything well but that there are caveats to keep in mind when using steam.
