Nothing Ear 3A earbuds hit $79, matching all-time low

Nothing’s Ear 3A earbuds are $79 at Amazon, Walmart and Best Buy, matching their lowest price, The Verge says.

The Ear 3A is positioned as a feature-rich option at that price. The Verge's review found the earbuds deliver strong performance for the money, with extensive EQ options that let users adjust the sound. John Higgins of The Verge found the default tuning a little too bass-heavy but said the sound was easy to adjust, a level of customization the publication described as unusual for earbuds in this price range.

Noise cancellation quiets low drones such as air conditioners and airplane cabin noise, though it does not completely block chatter in a coffee shop, according to the review. The Verge also encountered some bugs during testing: noise cancellation levels changed abruptly when adaptive ANC was in use, and voice calls occasionally had issues in noisy environments. The review described those drawbacks as relatively minor for the price.

The earbuds come in four colors, including yellow and a striking pink, and each pair includes extra-small ear tips for a more comfortable fit. They also offer a shortcut to ChatGPT and include 32MB of built-in storage, enough to record up to two hours of a phone call and transfer the recording through the companion app, according to The Verge.

The discount brings the Ear 3A to the same $79 price they have reached before, The Verge reported. The publication said the earbuds are worth considering for buyers who want noise-canceling wireless earbuds without spending more.
