Nothing Phone (4a) Pro Drops to $509 on Amazon, Its Lowest Price Yet

TechRadar's retail editor wrote that buyers trading in an existing handset can receive up to $500 in additional credit, an amount that depends on the device being handed over. The publication added that another Amazon Prime Day sale is roughly two weeks away, but argued the current price is worth considering because the phone has only been on the market for a few months and is unlikely to fall much further in the near term.

The Phone (4a) Pro carries a 6.83-inch AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate, Qualcomm's Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset and Android 16 with Nothing's own software layer on top. It uses the company's Glyph Matrix notification system and ships with a 5,080mAh battery that supports 50W charging.

TechRadar reviewed the same 12GB/256GB model earlier in 2026 and awarded it four and a half stars out of five, citing the display, the software and performance the outlet described as decent for the price. In that review, TechRadar found battery life fell short of Nothing's own claims, a result the publication said is not unusual in its testing.

The camera drew more qualified praise. TechRadar called the 3.5× telephoto decent but said colour accuracy and exposure were less consistent than on some competing phones, and it noted that image quality does not match high-end flagships, which the outlet attributed to the phone's price point.

TechRadar framed the device as a mid-range phone that tries to deliver flagship-style features without a flagship price, and said it is a solid alternative to mid-range Apple, Google and Samsung handsets. Its report did not include a statement from Nothing about the pricing.
