OnePlus teases Ace 7 series with an active cooling fan, 185Hz display leaks and an October 29 China launch.

The teasers, shared on Weibo, describe a desktop-grade active cooling system. Android Authority reported that OnePlus claims the design is intended to lower sustained gaming temperatures by as much as 10°C. The publication said the Ace 7 series is the next OnePlus phone to add a built-in fan.

Citing leaks from Digital Chat Station, Android Authority reported that both models are expected to feature a 6.78-inch 1.5K 185Hz display and a 200MP camera. The Ace 7 is said to carry a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5V, while the Ace 7 Pro is said to use a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 and add a 50MP periscope lens.

OnePlus is joining a growing group of Android flagships with built-in cooling fans. Android Authority noted that HONOR recently launched its Win 2 series with top-tier flagship processors, and all models in that series are equipped with active cooling fans.
