OnePlus confirmed the updates in separate posts on its community forums, according to Android Authority. The OnePlus 13 is receiving build CPH2649_17.0.0.102(EX01), the 13R build CPH2691_17.0.0.105(EX01), the 13s build CPH2723_17.0.0.101(EX01) and the 15R build CPH2767_17.0.0.106(EX01). The updates are rolling out in batches, so not every eligible device will receive them at the same time.

The software introduces redesigned Quick Settings and notifications, smoother animations, smarter memory management and more AI-powered tools, Android Authority reported. OnePlus' changelogs also list features intended to detect AI-generated voices in suspicious calls and possible face swaps during video chats.

The release also replaces OxygenOS with ColorOS on these devices. Android Authority reported that the change may sound significant, but the two software experiences already share much in common. The rollout follows the OnePlus 15 and OnePlus Pad 4, which received their updates ahead of a previously announced Oct. 29 release date.

For US users, the India rollout is an early sign but not a confirmation. OnePlus sold the 13, 13R and 15R in the United States, though not the 13s. The company has not said when Android 17 will reach American users, Android Authority reported.
