Open-source VoidAccess maps dark web OSINT queries into graphs
Open-source VoidAccess automates dark web OSINT queries into graphs and filters noise and NSFW content.
Katriel wrote that he wanted to build next-generation security tooling that surpasses current tools and paid industry products with an open-source engine. He said he built VoidAccess before MailAccess because he was delving heavily into DarkINT and found dark web content too difficult for a human to navigate manually.
The post says VoidAccess automates that pipeline, removes noise and filters out NSFW material so an analyst can get an overview of what is present on the dark web without going through it by hand. According to Katriel, the tool is simple to run: a few commands install it and a couple more start an investigation. The engine then takes over and stops only when the job is done or at a time limit set by the user.
Katriel also said he built MailAccess, an email OSINT tool that he expects to be the best in its category within another year. He thanked the community for the response VoidAccess has received. The Hacker News post had 29 points and no comments at the time of publication.
