OPPO Find X10 display could boost beneficial red light, leaker claims
A leaker says the OPPO Find X10 series will feature a display supporting BT.2020, offering the highest beneficial red light and lowest harmful blue light.
Tipster Digital Chat Station said on Weibo that the Find X10 series will include an "eye-protection substrate" supporting BT.2020, one of the widest color gamut standards currently in use. The insider further claimed that the screen will achieve the "highest beneficial red light and lowest harmful blue light."
Display makers have long explored hardware solutions to reduce eye fatigue, while smartphone brands typically rely on software to limit harmful blue light. If the leak is accurate, OPPO would be among the manufacturers pushing display technology further in this direction.
OPPO is expected to launch the Find X10 series in the fourth quarter, with China receiving the device first, followed by global markets. The company has not yet officially confirmed these display specifications.
