OPPO Find X10 Review Highlights ColorOS 17's Memory-Based AI and Natural Hasselblad Imaging

Ifanr review: OPPO Find X10 and ColorOS 17 focus on comfort, memory-based proactive AI and natural Hasselblad photos.

The review said OPPO has been among the more active phone makers in exploring AI operating systems, but many AIOS features remain either buried or too aggressive. ColorOS 17 tries to address that by turning repeated short-term notes into long-term personal context. A left-side shortcut called One-Tap Flash Note allows users to capture food delivery orders, WeChat chats, Xiaohongshu posts, reading excerpts, and even multi-hour Bilibili videos. The system parses and summarizes the material and stores it in Xiaobu Memory.

Over time, the review said, ColorOS 17 reclassifies, organizes, and links these entries. Xiaobu Memory's profile can say the user follows tennis tactics analysis, is an INTP, or is a night owl. With permission, the system can derive habits from repeated behavior. After several days on the same subway line, it can remind the user before their stop, even when they are listening to music. If the user regularly buys milk tea after work, Fluid Cloud may show a drink-ordering card when they pass the shop again. The review described this as a shift from passive AI triggered by a button to proactive AI built on accumulated memory.

Fluid Cloud stays at the edge of attention and moves information to the center only when needed, the review said. ColorOS 17 also uses AI to improve accessibility. The review highlighted TalkBack, which can use a visual model to understand system interfaces and read screen content even in apps without screen-reader labels, making it more friendly to visually impaired users.

Beyond AI, the review said ColorOS 17 works on interaction feedback and resource scheduling. It cited more detailed animations, a one-take transition from lock screen to home screen, the mechanical feel of side-swipe back, and a background retention mechanism that keeps frequently used core apps alive to avoid reloads. The review framed these as attempts to maintain a solid experience despite rising storage costs and limited resources.

On imaging, the review said Find X10 is the first standard model with a dual 200-megapixel lens group and is positioned by OPPO as a one-step image flagship. Its Hasselblad Super Clear original camera weakens the look of computational photography, avoiding excessive sharpening and smearing while retaining soft, natural optical texture and tonal transitions. The review said this reflects a broader shift among users and manufacturers toward authenticity rather than attention-grabbing photos. In portraits, the phone is restrained, leaving skin texture and ambient light intact; in backlight and mixed indoor light, the subject and background do not appear sharply separated.

The review said this is still computational photography, but a more complex kind that preserves real-world layering and reduces the plastic feel of algorithms. It cited a previous interview with ifanr in which OPPO's imaging team said its work on a camera-like feel began around Find X6, with exploratory color and tone work kept cautiously in Master Mode. With Find X10, the essence of Master Mode, comfortable midtones and restrained color, has been folded into the basic camera tuning, so the default Photo mode is often enough.

Before the shutter is pressed, LUMO AI inspiration features also participate in shooting, the review said. Inspiration Composition understands the scene and offers suggestions for emphasizing the subject or blending people with the environment. Inspiration Recommendation finds samples from Xiaohongshu for the same scenic spot and similar angle. New native color styles called Clear and Amber were also praised as restrained and versatile enough to leave on.

After using the phone for half a month, the reviewer said setup took about half an hour and AI configuration even less. Xiaobu AI learned wake-up time, commuting method, transit line, and frequently used music and map apps, then pushed messages at suitable times. The reviewer described the experience as simple and almost unnoticed: Fluid Cloud showing directions outside a familiar neighborhood, backlit photos retaining light layers, and battery remaining at a safe level after a full day out. The review concluded that fewer visible user operations come from more invisible work by the phone maker.
