Oppo's Find X10 series brings triple 200MP cameras and higher prices, but not to the US

Oppo's Find X10 and Find X10 Pro Max bring 200MP cameras and big batteries to Europe and Asia, but not the US.

TechRadar said the X10 Pro Max is the successor to last year's Find X9 Pro, which launched at £1,099 in the UK, making the new model £400 more expensive. Engadget described the Pro Max as sitting below the Find X9 Ultra and supplanting the Find X9 Pro. Oppo did not release an X10 Pro this year; the lineup consists of the X10 and X10 Pro Max, TechRadar reported.

On the Pro Max, Oppo uses 200MP sensors for the main, ultrawide and 3x telephoto cameras. TechRadar said all three are at least 1/1.56-inch and can shoot 8K/30fps or 4K/120fps video, with open-gate capture, Log recording and Dolby Vision. Engadget reported that the main sensor is a 1/1.3-inch Samsung HPC unit, smaller than the 1/1.12-inch Sony sensor in the Find X9 Ultra; in side-by-side tests, Engadget found the X9 Ultra handled low light better. The telephoto offers 3x optical zoom, 6x lossless crop and 10cm macro focusing, but not the X9 Ultra's 10x zoom.

The Pro Max also introduces Oppo's Lumo True image engine, which Engadget said reduces aggressive AI processing and made fewer computational guesses on text detail than the X9 Pro and Ultra. Oppo claims its DeepPix technology, built into the Samsung sensor, delivers up to 17 stops of dynamic range for video; Engadget said early testing showed incremental improvement rather than a headline feature.

TechRadar's review said the Pro Max has a 6.78-inch OLED display with 144Hz refresh, 2772x1272 resolution, MediaTek Dimensity 9600 Pro chipset, 12GB RAM, 512GB storage and a 7,150mAh battery in Europe, or 8,000mAh in Asia-Pacific. It is IP69-rated and comes in Titanium Grey and Lunar White. Engadget said the display peaks at 3,600 nits and is brighter than the Find X9 Pro. TechRadar listed the software as ColorOS 17, based on Android 17.

The standard Find X10 has two 200MP camera sensors and three rear cameras, the same 7,150mAh/8,000mAh battery split and a 12GB/512GB configuration, TechRadar said. The review called it a pro-level phone disguised as a standard flagship because of its camera performance, battery life and speed, but criticized its £1,099 price, limited availability and 'truly awful bloatware.' TechRadar said the Pro Max's only real downside is its price, while Engadget said the phone offers few surprises beyond its camera hardware and refined design.

UK buyers can get £100 off the Pro Max and a free accessory worth £500 for a limited time, with options including the Hasselblad Teleconverter Kit, Oppo Watch X3 or Oppo Pad 5, TechRadar reported. Engadget reported that the series will launch across Europe, Asia and other territories; TechRadar said Australian availability for both models was still to be confirmed.
