Photon Leap Debuts AI Imaging Ecosystem at BIRTV 2026 with 8K Thumb Camera and AI Ring

The display area broke from the dark tech styling common at industry shows, using a white palette with blue accents to reflect a young, future-oriented brand. Three zones — scenario-based experience, frontier technology exploration, and personal intelligent imaging ecosystem — mapped how AI moves from a tool to a creative partner.

In the scenario zone, Photon Leap recreated everyday settings such as cycling, hiking, pet recording and family vlogging to show the Cube. The camera weighs 55.9 grams, uses a 1/1.3-inch sensor, records 8K at 30fps, and includes a self-developed low-light algorithm. Its Moko voice assistant allows hands-free operation; a real-time tracking algorithm keeps moving subjects, such as a running dog, centered in the frame. A built-in editing engine can automatically generate a finished video based on scene semantics. The Cube’s magnetic modular system includes a neck loop, cap clip, tripod selfie stick, and a power module.

The frontier technology zone presented four handheld gimbals still in pre-production. Photon Leap said AI is native to these products, not an added feature. The gimbals integrate the Moko assistant, which can understand and execute natural language commands, and run on the company’s MemoryOS, described as the industry’s first operating system that gives images memory. MemoryOS links videos, people, locations, events and emotions into a searchable multimodal memory network.

The ecosystem zone demonstrated an AI ring paired with the Cube over a low-latency private protocol. When the ring’s heart-rate sensor detects a sustained rise or a peak in the user’s heart rate, it automatically sends a shooting command to the Cube, capturing moments of intense emotion or physical effort without manual operation. Photon Leap said its roadmap includes AI glasses, gimbal cinema cameras, and gimbal mirrorless cameras, aiming for a closed loop from recording to creation to sharing.

Outside the exhibition, LEAPTIC has partnered with Kejilai to enter 20 Kejilai digital stores in Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Chengdu, Chongqing, Qingdao, Nanjing, Fuzhou and Zhuhai. The stores cover nine of China’s ten busiest airports in passenger throughput, reaching more than 50,000 business and leisure travelers daily. The partnership is intended to boost brand exposure, market penetration, sales conversion and data feedback through store displays, professional staff and consumer analytics.
