PITAKA Launches iPhone 18 Pro Case Lineup From $59.99, Adds Foldable Duo Option

The lineup comprises the Edge Case, the Cairn Case and the Summa Case for both Pro models, each built on the company's woven aramid fiber construction. The company is also selling an Edge Series option for the iPhone 18 Duo, with a back shell and a front frame available separately. The Edge Case, at $59.99, is the lightest of the three and uses a woven aramid fiber shell with a subtle grain intended to add texture to the grip. For this generation PITAKA developed a material it calls Mammoth Resin, which the company says improves drop protection by 80 percent compared with the previous generation, following 14 months of development, more than 300 formula tests and more than 400 drop tests.

The Edge Case also carries PITAKA's PitaTap Camera Control, which places a capacitive sensor within less than 1 millimeter of the aramid fiber so the control is integrated into the shell rather than left as an open cutout. A built-in Amber Magnetic Module supports MagSafe accessories. The company added a curved “P-angle” beneath the camera frame that it says is designed to resist cracking when the case is installed or removed, along with a bottom speaker cutout and a chamfered side edge.

The $59.99 Cairn Case takes a more reinforced approach as part of PITAKA's Guard Series, pairing aramid fiber with slip-resistant TPU and a matte frame. Its Bow-Arc Corner Buffer 2.0, which the company says is inspired by the geometry of heavy-duty outdoor gear, uses flared, reinforced corners to absorb impact from drops. Cairn uses a physical capacitive camera button that covers the control area instead of an open cutout, keeping the Camera Control accessible.

The $79.99 Summa Case, also in the Guard Series, uses 3D thermoforming to extend the aramid fiber to the shell's edge, producing a continuous woven appearance rather than confining the material to the back panel. It is paired with a material PITAKA calls Orca Resin, which the company describes as balancing slimness and protection, and includes a physical capacitive Camera Control and a lanyard hole.

For the foldable iPhone 18 Duo, the Edge Series back shell is priced at $59.99 and the front frame at $54.99, with a bundle containing both pieces offered at $109.99. The new i18 collection adds colorways including Wind Over Wheat, Sunset 2.0, Moonrise 2.0, Over The Horizon 2.0, Milky Way Galaxy 2.0 and Breath of Veins, expanding the range of woven finishes available for the new phones.
