Pixel 11 series draws harsh verdict in reader poll, report says

More than 10,000 readers told Android Authority that Google's Pixel 11 series missed the mark, with criticism focusing on higher prices and reduced RAM. The phones launch August 20.

The poll appeared in a column by Stephen Radochia arguing that the Pixel 11 Pro and Pro XL show how far Google has moved away from Android enthusiasts. The main criticism centered on higher prices and a drop from 16GB to 12GB of RAM on the Pro models, especially as the Galaxy S26 Ultra now sits at the same $1,299 price as the Pixel 11 Pro XL.

The column acknowledged Google's camera improvements, HiLight, Qi charging upgrades, and software strengths, but said the Tensor G6 now has much more to prove if Pixel is to justify its premium price.
