Pixel Thermometer app gets gradient icon, Google Health branding
Google updates Pixel Thermometer app with a new gradient icon and replaces Fitbit branding with Google Health, according to Android Authority.
The new icon follows the gradient design used across many other Google apps. According to the report, the update also expands Google Health branding to the Thermometer app. On the screen where users can connect the app to Google Health to track body temperature over time, the “Apps” section now shows “Google Health” instead of “Fitbit.”
The Pixel Thermometer app is available for older Pixel devices that still include the temperature sensor. Google removed the sensor from the Pixel 11 series in favor of the new HiLight LED, but existing devices continue to support the feature. The updated app icon is rolling out via the Play Store and should appear on phones immediately after the update.
