Pixel Watch weather app adds air quality, pollen, and precipitation complications
Google is adding three new watch face complications to the Pixel Weather app on Wear OS, giving Pixel Watch users direct access to air quality, pollen, and precipitation data.
The update, version 1.0.0.94 of the Pixel Weather app, brings the number of available complications to six. Smartwatch “complications” are widgets that provide real-time information on the watch face, similar to the battery level, step counter, or upcoming calendar appointments already common on the Pixel Watch.
Google retired its original Weather app for Pixel Watch models last year and replaced it with the Pixel Weather app. Some third-party Wear OS weather apps already offered air quality, pollen, or precipitation complications for Pixel Watch owners, but this update brings those data fields natively to Google's own application.
